The spirit catches everything. Sifting through fibers of life. Seeking more. I feel Him there. Holy. Moving. Untangling. Investing in the earthly reservoir of self. His presence is so vividly overwhelming. I feel Him inside; I find evidence of Him on the out. He is gifted in the transition. Flawless even. Reaching my skin's surface. Prickling the epidermis of me. Unbeknownst I live until His holy is full on and masterful right before my very fingertips. From the inside to the out.
A word mover. I've always been. For there is peace there in the letters. Nestled together & growing. Pushing thoughts into cranial places. Giving the heart a chance to gush and to cry. The release of me is Him in human ways. Flawed & mangled, I am but a shoddy representation. But serving I will do. In the gifts He's invested in me. I'll keep sifting through my fibers. Clamoring along as I press letters a little more.
I am an inward turner. One who spends her day gathering all the clutter & equal parts good. In it goes. Unrealized, I collect. And as the day fades beautiful into God's night, I stay cluttered. Crammed with heavenly sources of hope just as much as the unnecessary trinkets like the broken toys of life.
But spirit? He's a catcher. Of the broken. The unmanaged. The unrequited too. One great collector. Climbing inside, He efforts the mess. I feel Him there. Holy. Moving. And a magnificent untangling begins the moment I fall into His freedom. Into His soft spot just for me. The confinement lifts. The mangled lies before me. I see it there. Flawed full, my face shrivels at its ugly. And then I fall a little more. This time resting against holy. The relief pushes me into space there in His soft. A carved out reservoir where healing turns to hope. I have room there to move. To turn & adjust. I can sift with Him. This place is grace.
Show off, holy spirit. By all means, you do. Skilled & mightily, He performs. Taking my broken. My collected. He alters self. And my surface is reached. His holy. My pieces. Masterfully undone. The spirit catches everything.
I move words for Him. I share for laughter and for hope. I press letters for service. To Him. To myself. To my family. And to you. My equal parts good reside there in the story. In the silly, superficial ones just as much as the hard. I clamor on for the peace those symbols create. Nestled together & growing. Pushing thoughts into cranial places. Giving the heart a chance to gush and to cry.
That's what the transparent life is all about. It's letting Him sift. Through the clutter & the damaged. It's finding His soft spot for you. Epidermis prickling. It's spirit catching and life giving in your equal parts good. For His pieces collected create a mosaic of a world full of service. Holy. Moving. Untangling. Show off, holy spirit. By all means, please do.
